The first Module of the El Paso County Land Development focuses on updates to the County's zoning districts and use regulations. Module 1 introduces updates to the lineup of zoning districts, including dimensional standards (building setbacks, height standards, lot coverage, etc.), and land uses allowed by right or by Special Use review in each district. This draft contains a combination of new content and content from the existing Land Development Code that was revised and formatted for the new LDC. In addition, this draft incorporates extensive input from the project Working Group.Throughout the draft there are footnotes that describe the source section, significant changes, or commentary for many of the provisions that originated from the current Land Development Code.

Hens are excluded from the Livestock definition. Does this document consider them to be in the Animal Definition? Where are they in this code or are they not regulated at all? I see "Hen chickens" under "Hobby Farm"
My suggestion is to 1) remove the statement of "excluding Hens" from the livestock definition, 2) leave the Animal definition alone, and 3) under the Hobby Farm definition leave the word livestock - for all animals defined by the word Livestock thus including the general term of Poultry. Remove the part under Hobby Farm which says "hen chickens, or roosters"
4) Add an additional definition for the term "Poultry if you so choose" I can help with that if you wish.
